July
- 27 July - Games makers programme launches for specialist roles
and special interest groups
September
- Olympic Route Network (ORN) and Paralympic Route Network (PRN)
consultation
- 3 September - Angel Lane reopens to traffic
- 15 September - Opening date for the generalist volunteering
roles, and specialist roles continue
October
- 3 October - Commonwealth Games start in Dehli, India
December
- LOCOG start to invite short listed applicants for generalist
and specialist roles to a selection event
2011
January

- 15 March - 500 days until the 2012 Games begin
- 27 March - Newham London Run
April
- 17 April - 500 days until the 2012 Paralympic Games
begin

Tickets for spectator events go on sale

Main stadium completed
Aquatics centre completed

Velopark construction ends

- Opening of Stratford City

- LOCOG will start sending out offers to successful

- Royal Docks cable car goes into operation

- 10 April - Olympic Torch Relay begins
- Uniform distribution and accreditation begins
