I'm Tessa Sanderson, being a 6 time
Olympian and a Gold Medal Winner at the 1984 Games in Los
Angeles, I know what it takes athletes need to help them
prepare for the biggest event of their lives.
Having worked in Newham for the last 4 years, I know the borough is
the place to prepare ahead of the London 2012 Olympic and
Paralympic Games.
Having worked in Newham for the last 4 years, I know the borough is
the place to prepare ahead of the London 2012 Olympic and
Paralympic Games.
Before the Beijing Games in 2008 we hosted an elite group of
athletes from the Athletics Federation of India, helping 2 squad
member qualify for Beijing as well as set 3 national records.
I will work with to ensure all your needs as Olympians and
Paralympians are met by our local partners. My programme for
talented athletes -
the Newham
Sports Academy - has developed relationships with sports
facilities, sport science support accommodation and transport
providers in Newham. All this support would be here for you if
choose Newham as a training base.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you prepare for
London 2012.
