to be part of the lasting legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games
and Paralympic Games.
You can access opportunities to volunteer for the 2012
Games by joining Newham's Volunteer programme. It offers you the
chance to work with people from diverse communities, learn new
skills, build self confidence, achieve personal goals and gain once
in a lifetime experiences.
The 2012 Games will need 70,000 volunteer participants, including
recruitment from within the Newham's Volunteers programme. More
than 900 volunteers have participated in over 350 events in Newham,
London and across the country since 2004 and there are currently
more than 1000 inducted volunteers who are part of the
scheme.
