Paying at a Post
Office or PayPoint Outlet
Payment for housing rent, Council
tax and fixed penalty notices can be made at any post office or
PayPoint outlet.
Housing Rent
Payment for housing rent can be made in cash at a Post Office or
PayPoint outlet using an allpay card. To request an allpay card for
housing rent call 020 8430 6327.
If you would like to order an allpay payment card online to make
payments at a Post Office or PayPoint outlet, please send your
name, address and your 10 digit rent reference number to the rent
service email inbox at
hsg-rentservice.supportgroup@newham.gov.uk.
Cards will be posted to your address within 10 working days.
Council Tax
Newham residents who choose to pay their Council Tax bill by cash
can do so by presenting their bill at any Post Office or PayPoint
outlet. The barcode on the front of the bill will be scanned and a
receipt for payment will be issued. You should keep your receipt in
case you have any queries about your account.
Residents who have an allpay card to pay for Council Tax can
continue to use it. Replacement allpay cards for Council Tax will
not be issued.
