If your application to become a British Citizen is successful and you are over 18, you are required by law to attend a Citizenship Ceremony.
How quickly can I book a Citizenship Ceremony?

When you receive your invitation letter from the Home Office you need to call to book an appointment for your ceremony. You must have your ceremony within three months, we can usually arrange this for within a few weeks. Find out how to contact us by clicking on 'more details'.

How much does a Citizenship Ceremony cost?

The cost of your ceremony is included in the Home Office fee. We make no charge for group ceremonies. However if you require an individual ceremony there is an additional charge of £80 per adult.

What documents do I need to bring to my Citizenship Ceremony?

You will need to bring: (1) your Home Office citizenship invitation letter (2) original photo identification such as a passport or driving licence. You must bring these documents with you otherwise the ceremony cannot take place.

Can I have my ceremony on a Saturday?

Unfortunately no ceremonies are available on a Saturday.
