Children and Young
People's Plan Review 2009 Consultation

During the summer and autumn of 2009 Newham Council
undertook a consultation process as part of the annual review of
the Children & Young People's Plan so that you:
- Were aware of what we achieved in 2008/2009
- Had an opportunity to let us know if you agreed with what we
said
- Could help us decide what the priorities should be for the year
ahead
The consultation period came to a close on October 30th 2009 and
the review has now been completed and agreed by the Children's
Trust Partnership Board, Cabinet and Full Council.
The key findings from the specific consultations with children
& young people are presented in this
feedback document.

This will be the last year we are reviewing the current version of
the CYPP. In line with new Government legislation which is planned
to come into affect in 2010, the new Children's Trust Board will be
developing a new plan in 2010.
