If you want to continue studying after 16, there's a wide range of sixth form centres and colleges in Newham offering vocational and non-vocational courses.

St. Angela's and St. Bonaventure's Sixth Form Centre in Forest Gate provides for students who want to continue their education in a Catholic setting.


Most of the courses at Newham Sixth Form College are designed for school-leavers. The college was set up by Newham Council in 1992, and has its headquarters in Plaistow. Contact:

The widest variety of courses for people over 16 is at Newham College of Further Education. Its main centres are in East Ham, Stratford, and Docklands. There are also a range of non-vocational courses available.
