Newham
From September 2010 as a
parent/carer you must complete your home borough's common
application form (CAF) to apply for a school place even if one or
more of your preferred schools are outside of the borough, you can
no longer apply to the school or borough direct.
Details of any applications you make for out borough
schools will be sent to the admission authority via a secure site
within five days of receipt in Newham. For some schools, usually
faith schools you will be required to also complete their own
supplementary information form (SIF).
We strongly recommend you to research any school and read their
admission arrangements before you apply and if possible use at
least one of your preferences to name your local Newham school as
this is the school where most Newham children have the highest
priority for a place.
