The Monitoring,
Challenge and Intervention framework
The Monitoring, Challenge and
Intervention (MCI framework that the local authority uses has been
developed in partnership with schools and governors.
The framework has been developed to include all
schools, including special schools and alternative provision. In
this document the term school is used to refer to the full range of
provision for all pupils. This framework outlines the processes
that the local authority has agreed with
schools.
