Stratford Circus is a new kind of
arts centre - it is a first class learning facility, a top venue
and much more.
The Stratford Circus Arts Centre is a fantastic
building in the heart of East London, close to the site of the 2012
Olympics. The centre promotes crossover in every area of its
activity and is open to all members of the community
Under the umbrella of NewVIc, Newham's award-winning sixth form
college, the building houses five key organisations each recognised
for its flair and drive and for the high quality of its educational
offer.
All well established, they specialise in dance, music, theatre,
adult education and new media. Together they promote crossover -
between disciplines, communities and artists - in every area of the
building's activity.
Come here to learn to act or dance, to make music or a video. Host
your own event in our state of the arts spaces. Catch a gig, drop
in for lunch, explore a new skill or build a career - you'll find
many ways of being here. It's not just about learning, or
performance, or even community. But put all that together and watch
the sparks fly...
