Little Ilford Park
Masterplan - Tell us what you think
The council made a commitment for
the long term improvement of Little Ilford park.
Recently there has been a successful project expanding the
parks play grounds and now the intention is to extend this
improvement to the park as a whole. During 2011 the council has
been consulting with the local community and key stakeholders in
and around Little Ilford Park to create a masterplan for the
park.
A masterplan sets out a vision for improving, managing and
developing the park from the immediate present to the longer term
future. It acts as a guide for the development of the park and
supports the council and other organisations in securing future
funding bids.
There is currently no funding to carry out any works however the
masterplan will be used by the borough to apply for funding from
various sources, should this be successful and money becomes
available this will enable sections of the park to be completed
over time until all the improvements have been made.
We were pleased to find that you were very positive about the
proposals for Little Ilford Park and your feedback has been used to
create a revised layout.
