as football, basketball, and dance.

Goalball in Newham Club
Goalball is a three-a-side team game developed for visually
impaired players but it can also be played by individuals with full
sight. Goalball has three main features that distinguish it from
games played by sighted people:
- The ball contains internal bells, which enable players to
hear the ball and locate it during play
- The game is played on a court or play area with tactile
markings to enable players to determine where they are on the
court.
- All players wear blacked out goggles or eyeshades to ensure
that all players play on an equal level.
