Post-Games
transformation
Find out how the London 2012
parklands will start to be transformed after the Games.
A large area of new parklands is being created for the
London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic
Games.
After the Games the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) will transform
these parklands, ready for handover to the Olympic Park Legacy
Company.
In December 2009 the ODA will be submitting a planning application
to ensure the parklands are transformed into a public park
following the Games.
These developments will help to revive the Lower Lea Valley and
create better connections between the communities surrounding the
Olympic Park.
