People's Needs Assessment 2009/10
The Children & Young People's
Needs Assessment contains extensive data on the needs of children
and young people in Newham.
It was developed during 2009/10 (with data available up to 31st
March 2010) to support decisions around what Newham's Children's
Trust's priorities would be, and their articulation in the Children
and Young People's Plan (CYPP).
Newham's new CYPP is being developed during 2010/11.
The data in the Needs Assessment has been collected from a variety
of national, regional and local data sources and has been collated
with input from officers in Newham Council and partners of the
Children's Trust including
Newham
PCT.
The document is organised according to each chapter relating to one
of the Every Child Matters Outcomes. Key messages are outlined at
the beginning of the document.
The Needs Assessment will be reviewed during 2011 in line with the
Joint
Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA).
