In Newham the demand for social housing is high and our housing waiting lists are growing every day. We are working very hard to ensure there is more housing available, but at the moment there are simply not enough council and housing association properties to go around.

At present, there are thousands of households who are on the housing waiting list. We will always suggest you try other housing options as its usually quicker to get a place even if you do qualify.
