A major Canning Town and Custom
House Regeneration Programme development is now
underway.
Countryside Properties, working in partnership with
Newham Council and Affinity Sutton has started work on the award
winning Fife Road development in Canning Town. The scheme will
contribute to the regeneration of the area and help create a place
where people can enjoy a good quality of life.
The majority of homes are designed to 'Lifetime Homes' standard.
The properties range form one and two bedroom apartments up to
three and four bedroom houses. The development will create a mixed
community where people choose to live and stay and will see a total
of 649 new homes including private sale, shared ownership and
affordable rent. The first phase of this award winning scheme is
due to be completed in 2013 and will deliver 139 new homes, of
which more than 30 per cent will be affordable, 10% will be
suitable for people with disabilities and the affordable homes will
be pepper potted throughout the development. A show home has been
open on the site since October last year.
