Stratford Workshops

Stratford Workshops consists of some 100 self contained workshop units, varying in size from 100 sq ft to 1,800 sq ft. Originally the building was built as the main printing centre for tickets and time tables for the Railways at the turn of the century.

Straightforward application and monthly bills

A single inclusive monthly bill is prepared covering both rent and service charge, the latter covering the rates and all central charges*. In addition electricity and gas used in the unit are metered and billed monthly.

The application procedure for the Lease is designed to be straightforward so that licensees can move in quickly and will not be delayed unnecessarily. The process usually takes 2-4 weeks, but can be fast tracked if necessary.

Good location and transport connections

The workshops are conveniently located in the heart of Stratford, an area currently experiencing considerable regeneration.

Situated just off the A11, the workshops are 0.5 miles away (9 minute walk) from Stratford Station, which provides access to the Underground, DLR* and overground railway services.

The workshops are also close to Stratford Mall, which includes numerous major banks, shops, cafes and bars.

*Docklands Light Railway will be extended to the new Stratford International station by 2010 to allow direct connections with international high-speed services. The new 5 km route will service the following stations: Stratford, West Ham, Canning Town, Royal Victoria and four new stations at Star Lane, Abbey Road, Stratford High Street and Stratford International.
