The Access to Jobs team works to
develop employment and training initiatives to maximise local job
opportunities for Newham.
We work in partnership with a range of organisations to
help both unemployed and employed people develop their skills and
qualifications. Our
"Where To?" reference guide details many of the organisations
offering employment and training in the borough.
London Borough of Newham has produced a
Draft Employment Strategy and Action Plan which aims to help
Newham residents access local job opportunities. It also aims to
assist partner organisations in planning action and investment in
the local employment market. The draft strategy is based on the
current and future economic and employment agenda for Newham.
