YES Scheme - 2009 recruits

Say YES to Newham YES - the council's Youth Employment Scheme.

The council's Youth Employment Scheme provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and obtain a greater chance of gaining permanent employment with Newham Council.

The Youth Employment Scheme (YES) provides young people aged 16-18 years old, who live in Newham, with two years work experience. Newham's Integrated Youth Service has developed some excellent apprenticeship opportunities aimed at young people who have an interest in working and supporting young people.

For more information about the scheme and to read about the experiences of some of our existing Youth Employment scheme trainees, see our Youth Employment Scheme brochure (PDF)
