Official re-opening of Curwen School

break

I was delighted to open the newly refurbished Curwen School last Friday (20 January, 2012).

I am especially glad the council has helped to pay for the new school because we are very proud of Curwen's achievements; an outstanding Ofsted inspection and year-on-year improving results.

Plus I was proud to hear how many Curwen children take part in sports and activities because we think that is really important for making friends, being healthy and enjoying life.

Sir Robin Wales, Lyn Brown MP, Cllr Peppiatt and Curwen staff and children cut the ribbon at the reopening of the newly refurbished school.
