Do it online

For some issues it might be quicker and easier to get in touch with Newham Council directly using one of our online forms:

• General service requests: From reports of anti-social behaviour to missed bin collections.
• Apply for services: Including Housing and Council Tax Benefit and replacement wheelie bins.
• Complaints against the council
• Access to council information: Make an information request under the Freedom of Information Act or Data Protection Act.

Unfortunately sometimes people wait a long time to see me at surgery and their request is outside my remit. Check here before asking me about the following:

• Immigration issues: These can be looked at by your local MP. Find out who your local MP is here.
• Parking tickets: These follow a statutory appeals process.
• School admissions: These follow a statutory appeals process.
• Planning Applications and Appeals: Advice on when you may need planning permission, the process and appeals procedure
