Council supports England footballers

June 06, 2006

The council will fly St George's flag on England match days in the World Cup.
The decision was taken this week to hoist the red and white cross outside Newham Town Hall, in Barking Road, East Ham, and Old Town Hall, Broadway, Statford, each day the country's team plays in the international football competition.
