Future Newham showcases at the Mayor's Newham Show

July 04, 2008

Newham residents have an opportunity to be involved in planning for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games at this year's Mayor's Newham Town Show.

The Future Newham tent will give residents the chance to communicate their dreams and wishes for 2012 and beyond.

Whether you want to film a short piece to camera on the future of the Olympic Park, study the interactive models or simply talk to someone about what's happening in your area the Future Newham tent is the place to give the council your opinion.

Children will have the opportunity to give their opinion by building interactive models.

Information will also be available about other regeneration projects and initiatives including the Canning Town and Custom House Regeneration Project and Newham's job brokerage scheme Workplace.

The Mayor's Newham Show is taking place in Central Park, High Street South, East Ham from 2pm to 8pm on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13.
