Travel Disruption

June 05, 2008

Police have this afternoon announced that a number of transport links will be suspended from 10pm on Thursday. This will enable work on the World War II device found in Stratford to be carried out.

There are planned closures affecting the District and Hammersmith & City Underground lines between Bromley-by-Bow and West Ham stations. The C2C main line to and from Fenchurch Street is also affected.

The disruption is expected to last until Friday morning and commuters are being requested to find alternative routes.
