Richard Gooding, Chair of the Newham Homes Board, today announced the appointment of Michael Irvine as chief executive of Newham Homes.

Michael Irvine said: "I am extremely pleased to be appointed and have been impressed by what I have seen so far and by the welcome I have received. This is an exciting time for Newham Homes and I am keen to use my skills and experience to help Newham Homes realise its potential over the coming years. My principle objective for Newham Homes is to gain three stars in the Audit Commission Inspection next year.
