The following are details and pricing of car parks run by Newham Council's Parking and Traffic Enforcement Service. along with other useful information.

Five of Newham Council's car parks have now been awarded the 'Park Mark' award for safer parking.

Settle Point (Plaistow), Madge Gill and St. John's West (East Ham) have been given the award. Stratford Multi-Storey and Shaftesbury Road, have had their awards renewed.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcyles can park within all bays except those marked disabled. They do not need to pay and display.

Blue Badge Parking

In the Council-run car parks listed below, 6% of spaces are reserved for Blue Badge holders. Badge holders can park free of charge in any space within a car park without time limit (except in Stratford Multi-Storey Car Park)

Car Park Season Tickets

Season tickets are available for most car parks (see car park information below).

Apart from Stratford Multi-storey, you will need to complete a Car Park Season Ticket Application Form.

You can take the completed form to any of the Local Service Centres around the Borough; Beckton, Canning Town, East Ham, Forest Gate, Green Street, Manor Park or Stratford. If you wish to pay by cash this can only be accepted at Canning Town, East Ham, Manor Park and Stratford. Visit the Local Service Centre section of the website for addresses and opening hours.

Payment can be made by cash (where accepted), cheque (made out to 'London Borough of Newham' with a cheque guarantee card) or debit / credit card (except American Express). .

Canning Town

Maud Street Car Park is a free car park but time restrictions can apply depending on where you are parked. For example, cars parked in the Red Zone - which makes up half of all bays - can stay for a maximum of two hours.

Stratford

Stratford Multi-Storey Car Park is located off Great Eastern Road (postcode: E15 1BB). If you follow the one-way system from High Street Stratford to Great Eastern Road, keep in the right hand lane when approaching the lights at the corner of Great Eastern Road. After the lights, you will see a large sign for the car park almost immediately to the right. Turn into the lane at the sign, where there is a traffic light. After the lights there is a ramp directly to the left, leading to the car park entrance.

Grove Crescent (Salway Road) Car Park (entrance off Great Eastern Road)

With effect from 12.01am on Sunday 11 September 2011 Salway Road car park will be closed to the public. At this time the car park will be secured and any vehicles parked in the car park will be removed by the London Borough of Newham. The nearest Newham car park to Salway Road is Stratford Multi Storey, Great Eastern Rd, London E15.
