Carer parking permits

Carer parking permits are available to residents of a residential parking zone who require home visits from a carer or a number of carers.

The permit allows the holder to park their vehicle in a permit holders only bay (image) within the residential parking zone shown on the permit. They can also park within a 'shared use' bay that is, a bay where permit holders and motorists displaying a valid pay and display ticket, can park.

A carer parking permit is transferable (can be used on different vehicles) and allows the holder's carer(s) to park in a designated bay within the relevant residential parking zone while carrying out a home visit to care for the holder of the permit.

Carer parking permits cost £10 for one year.
