Resident visitor
parking permits
Resident visitor parking permits
are available to residents of a residential parking zone for use by
their visitors during controlled hours.
As part of the
Mayor's
Promises for 2011/12, since 1 July 2011 households within
Residential Parking Zones that do not already have a valid
residents' parking permit have been eligible to apply for up to 30
free one-day visitors' vouchers. To claim your free vouchers,
please complete our online form.
There are three different types of resident visitor parking
permits:

A household is limited to purchasing a maximum of 40 cards (in any
combination) per month. Resident visitor parking permits are
non-refundable.
The permit allows the holder to park their vehicle in a
permit holders only bay within the residential parking zone
shown on the card/booklet for the time stated. They can also park
within a 'shared use' bay - that is, a bay where
permit holders and motorists displaying a valid pay and display
ticket can park.
