School visitor parking
permits
School visitor parking permits are
available to schools located within a resident parking
zone.
They allow school visitors to park their vehicle in a
permit holders only bay within the resident parking zone shown on
the card/booklet for up to three hours. They can also park in a
'shared use' bay - that is, a bay where permit holders and
motorists displaying a valid pay and display ticket can park. The
permits cannot be used by school employees.
The permits cost £15 for a pack of 10 cards. Schools wishing to
purchase visitor parking permits must present a letter on headed
paper confirming that the request is being made on behalf of the
school and stating the number of books required. It should be
signed and dated by someone with authority at the school, i.e. the
head teacher or their secretary.
You can purchase school visitor parking permits in person or by
post.
See 'Where to apply for parking and access permits' for further
information. If you have any permit related questions, please
telephone 020 8430 2000.
