Where to apply for
parking and access permits
Please note that the Parking Shop
in East Ham is now closed. You can apply for most permits in person
at any Local Service Centre or by post.
Please be aware that for most permit applications you
are required to supply original documentation (see type of permit
for details).
The council therefore recommends that you send your application by
recorded delivery if you are applying by post. Original documents
supplied with your application will be returned to you via recorded
delivery. For information about each permit and an application

How to apply for parking permits
Online
Currently you can only
apply for Resident Visitor Parking Permits online, however you
will be able to apply for other parking permits via My Newham
soon.
In person
Please note: Visitor Parking Permits are no longer
available at Local Service Centres.
Please apply for your Resident Visitor Parking Permit
online.
You can apply for a permit (except for Visitor Parking Permits) at
all of our Local Service Centres apart from Docklands Local
Service Centre which does not offer this service. For full
addresses and opening hours visit the
Local Service Centres section of the website.
By post
Please note: Visitor Parking Permits can no longer
be ordered by post.
Please apply for your Resident Visitor Parking Permit
online.
For permits other than Visitor Parking Permits: Postal applications
must be paid for by cheque or postal order made payable to 'London
Borough of Newham'.
