How do I pay my
Penalty Charge Notice?
You can pay your Penalty Charge
Notice (PCN) in a number of different ways. Please note that the
Parking Shop is now closed.
If you wish to challenge the PCN please do not make
payment. Receipt of payment will be considered as admission of
liability and the case will be closed.

Do NOT send cash in the post.
Make your cheque, postal order or bankers draft payable to 'London
Borough of Newham'. Ensure you enclose the
original PCN or write the the PCN number and your vehicle
registration number on the back.
Post-dated cheques will not be accepted. Dishonoured cheques are
considered non-payment and may result in you having to pay an
increased amount.
Postal payments for PCNs beginning with XN or NE must be sent

You can visit the following Local Service Centres around the
Borough: Beckton, Canning Town, East Ham, Forest Gate, Green
Street, Manor Park and Stratford. If you wish to pay by cash this
can only be accepted at Canning Town, East Ham, Manor Park or
Stratford. For full addresses and opening hours, visit the

If you pay by cash it is important that you obtain a receipt for
your payment. Should any queries arise about your payment it may
not be possible to deal with it unless you have a receipt.
