Board (NPB)
The Newham Partnership Board (NPB)
is the strategic decision making body for 'Newham Partnership',
which is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the
borough.
The Board oversees the Public Service Board, and the
Partnership Action Boards. The Board is chaired by the Mayor of
Newham, Sir Robin Wales.
The Partnership Board leads the family of partnership bodies set up
to deliver the shared vision and Sustainable Community Strategy,
which the Board has ownership of.
The membership reflects the broad range of partner organisations
from the public, business and voluntary sectors who are involved in
delivering the Partnership's vision for Newham.
The Board will task the four Partnership Action Boards and the
Public Service Board with responsibility for delivering the overall
vision and the seven themes of the Sustainable Community Strategy
and will hold them to account for delivery.
It agrees all strategic plans as set out in the Strategic Policy
Framework as well as having ownership of the Local Area
Agreement.
