Tour of Britain and Waterfront Festival

On 18 September 2010 the Royal Victoria Dock came alive with entertainment, food stalls and fireworks for the very first Newham London Waterfront Festival.

What's more, with the festival coinciding with the final stage of the prestigious Tour of Britain cycle race taking place along Newham's waterfront, visitors and residents were also given the chance to witness the gripping climax of this world class cycling event and even try out the route themselves in The Prostate Cancer Charity Tour Ride.
