Under the Stars 2010 - Eastern Beats

H Dhami returned to Newham to headline Eastern Beats. He was joined by Newham's Mumzy stranger, Britain's Got Talent duo Signature and Preeya, formerly EastEnders' Amira Shah. Also featuring were Bombay Baja, Sayfuz, Abbas Hasan, Tasha Tah and Romy Shay.
Eastern Beats took place on the second evening of Under the Stars 2010 and started with a lovely sunset over the main stage.

Eastern Beats took place on the second evening of Under the Stars 2010 and started with a lovely sunset over the main stage. Bombay Baja, one of Europe's first Indian brass bands, were the first act on stage and entertained the crowds with their renditions of popular tunes from Bombay cinema. Local singer Sayfuz was thrilled to be performing to a Newham crowd. Singer songwriter Tasha Tah on stage. Romy Shay singing on stage. Duo act Signature, first hit our screens on Britain's Got Talent. Signature are famous for their dancing to Michael Jackson tracks combined with Bhangra. Signature were a popular hit with the crowd. There were a couple of costume changes including classic outfits as seen in Michael Jackson pop videos. Signature show us their moves! Signatures act finished with a classic reworking of Thriller by Michael Jackson. Nearly 10,000 people came to the Eastern Beats night as part of the Under the Stars festival. The final section of the evening begins with preparations for sets from Mumzy, Preeya and H Dhami. Mumzy Stranger on stage. DJ on stage. Mumzy was a popular hit. Preeya singing with Mumzy.
