The Under the Stars music festival started with Latino Live on Thursday 26 August 2010.

Salsa nation kept the crowds entertained with salsa classes throughout the night.

Guest samba band Bloco Fogo.

Bloco Fogo surprised the crowds by performing around the park before getting on stage.

Cow bells, along with the drums and other instruments created a great sound.

There were guitars...

Newham Resident, Roberto Pla and his Latino Big Band gave the crowds plenty of great music to dance to.

As well as band leader, Roberto Pla is a master-percussionist.

Newham resident Roberto Pla was thrilled to bring a celebration of latin music to Under the Stars.

Percussion instruments of various types added to the fantastic sound.

A great night was had by all at Latino Live.
