Under the Stars 2011

Not even the rain showers could dampen the spirits of Newham's residents, with thousands still turning out to enjoy four nights of free musical entertainment at East Ham's Central Park during the Bank Holiday Weekend (Thursday 25 - Sunday 28 August 2011).

Under the Stars welcomed a diverse range of music genres to the stage; from smooth jazz melodies to performances from some of today's hottest bhangra musicians.

Other highlights included a tribute to rock sensation, Queen and a rousing programme of orchestral favourites to the backdrop of a magnificant firework display.
