Dangerous
structures
A dangerous structure is any
structure with the potential to cause imminent danger to the
public. The weather and wind can often create the situation and
make it worse. A few examples are a tree or lampost leaning over a
path or road, loose scaffolding or a loosening old 'pub-like'
sign.
Under the London Building Acts (Amendment Act 1939) we have
the power to deal with buildings, structures or parts of buildings
and structures that are considered to be dangerous.
