Search information and fees

The current turn around time for Full Searches is, on average, 2 working days.

Please Note

• Official Searches can only be cancelled within 24 hours of receipt. After this time the search cannot be withdrawn from the system.
• Two plans are required for searches.
• Appropriate forms are required in duplicate.
• Cheques should be made payable to the London Borough of Newham.
• Should your bank dishonour a cheque, you will be required to submit a replacement payment within 7 days or we will issue an invoice to collect the outstanding sum.

• CON29R £115
• CON29O £20
• Extra parcel £30
• Solicitors own enquiry minimum of £50 subject to complexity
• Highways search £50

Please note that as from 1 April 2012 the fee for the CON29R will increase to £115. A full search will therefore cost £140.
