The Council maintains statutory records of planning and building control applications and decisions which in some cases date back to 1947.

Details can now be found using the Council's Public Access website. This information is free and you can access the system every day, except Saturday when we carry out regular maintenance.

We are in the process of uploading documents relating to these records, but you can see all the majority of information in textural form.

If you cannot find what you are looking for you can contact either the Planning Service or Building Control Service for assistance on 020 8430 2000 and ask for the Duty Officer between Mon-Fri 9am-1pm.

However, should the enquiry require officers' formal opinion or detailed investigation or copies of completion certificates, we will charge you a non refundable fee of £100.

We would also advise those who are looking for confirmation of existing or proposed lawful development to make a formal application to the Council.
