Supplementary Planning Guidance

Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPGs) provide non-statutory guidance and detailed advice on policies in the Unitary Development Plan (UDP).

The SPGs adopted by the council will eventually be replaced by emerging Local Development Framework (LDF) documents. However, the following SPGs (and guidance notes) remain in place and will continue to inform planning decisions.

London City Airport SPG:

An SPG regarding London City Airport Safeguarding was published in 2005. However, please note that the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) have advised the council of proposed amendments to the London City Airport Public Safety Zone shown in the SPG. It should be noted that the revised CAA plan supersedes Map 2 in the London City Airport SPG.
