Activities and Events in Parks

Welcome To The Outdoor Classroom

There is no better place to learn than your local park!
Parks are a great place to learn about the environment, your local heritage and discover the wide variety of fantastic wildlife and flowers.

Newham's parks offer a full range of opportunities for people to learn and explore the outdoors. You can organise a school or group visit, go on a park walk and talk, or take a self-guided stroll along a tree trail.

To learn about trees you can try the self-guided tree walks in Central Park, East Ham and Becton District Park.

For further information about educational activities, school visits, and self-guided walks phone 020 8430 2000.
