Animal Welfare and Licensing

Newham's Animal Welfare Service has a range of responsibilities including collecting unattended dogs, enforcing the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991and licensing establishments connected with animals such as pet shops and riding schools.

    Lost Dogs and Cats

    We collect all unattended dogs found in a public place. This includes stray dogs that may have wandered on to private property.

  • Animal Licensing

    We are responsible for all licensing related to animals.

    Boarding for dogs and cats

    We operate a kennel and cattery where you can board dogs, cats and some other animals.
