Blue Badge Parking Scheme

FAQs

How much will it cost me to get a Blue Badge?
An administrative fee of £2.00 will be charged for the issue of a Blue Badge. This can be paid in cash, by cheque ir postal order. Please make payable to the London Borough of Newham.
Will my car be clamped or removed if I have a Blue Badge?
In Newham, your car will not be clamped if you break parking regulations. Newham Council does not usually remove cars with a Blue Badge, but if you have been given three or more Penalty Charge Notices and have not paid them, (and you have not made an appeal against them), your vehicle will be removed if it is found breaking parking regulations. If you are a Blue badge holder you cannot park on loading restrictions. If you are parked on a loading restriction or you are parked so that your car blocks a road or may cause an accident, your car may be removed.
How can I renew my Blue Badge?
The process for renewing a Blue Badge is the same as applying for one. You can find information on how to apply for a Blue Badge here.more...
