Blue Badge Parking Scheme

    • Blue Badge rules

Blue Badge holders may park free of charge for an unlimited time at public car parks and at `Pay and Display` or `Permit Holders` bays in any CPZ - as long as they display their badge.

    • Disabled Resident's Parking Permit

A Blue Badge holder can apply for a Disabled Resident's Parking Permit as long as they have a formalised disabled parking bay outside their home, within a Controlled Parking Zone.

    • Misuse of the Blue Badge

We can take away a badge if the badge holder misuses it - for example, by allowing other people to use it or if a person's disability improves so that they are no longer eligible for the scheme.

    • Parking problems

Here you can find more information about parking for Blue Badge holders and how to report vehicles that are blocking disabled bays.

    • Parking with a Blue Badge

The Blue Badge, more correctly known as the Disabled Person's Parking Exemption, gives holders a number of benefits.

    • How to apply for a Blue Badge

Here you can find information on who can qualify for a Blue Badge, how to apply for one and where you will be able to use your Blue Badge.

    • Blue Badge exemptions

@There are some areas of London where the Blue Badge does not give any parking advantage.
