Sometimes additional permission is required under planning legislation, particularly if the building is a dwelling, adjoins a dwelling house, is listed or is within a conservation area.
On receipt of the Section 80 notice, Building Control will issue a counter notice.
This guidance applies to demolitions served under Section 80 of the Building Act 1984 only.
