Children Looked After by the Council
We look after children or young people
whom for some reason can't live with their own family. It could be
for a short time while the family gets some help to cope with a
particular problem or it could be for a long time because there is
a serious problem that means the child or young person can't go
home at all. It depends on individual circumstances.
