Frequently asked questions concerning
Newham City Farm.
- What are the Farm's opening hours?
- Our opening hours are 10am to 4pm in the winter and 10am to 5pm
in the summer. We're closed on Mondays (except bank holidays).
- What should I wear to visit the
farm?
- You should wear sensible clothes suited to being outside at the
time of your visit as well as sensible shoes, it can sometimes get
muddy here!
- How much does it cost?
- Nothing for casual visitors but groups are charged if they need
staff support and must be pre-booked. School visits are
welcome.
- What is there to see?
- Blaze is a working shire horse who pulls a dray cart. There are
also pigs, sheep, birds of prey and much more. There are paths
throughout the site. In addition there are staff at work on the
Farm.
- What facilities are there?
- A picnic area, an education centre, a baby changing area, shop
and cafe (hours vary - please ring first)
- Are there facilities for disabled
people?
- Yes. There are tarmac paths throughout of the farm.
