Frequently asked questions concerning Newham City Farm.
What are the Farm's opening hours?
Our opening hours are 10am to 4pm in the winter and 10am to 5pm in the summer. We're closed on Mondays (except bank holidays).
What should I wear to visit the farm?
You should wear sensible clothes suited to being outside at the time of your visit as well as sensible shoes, it can sometimes get muddy here!
How much does it cost?
Nothing for casual visitors but groups are charged if they need staff support and must be pre-booked. School visits are welcome.
What is there to see?
Blaze is a working shire horse who pulls a dray cart. There are also pigs, sheep, birds of prey and much more. There are paths throughout the site. In addition there are staff at work on the Farm.
What facilities are there?
A picnic area, an education centre, a baby changing area, shop and cafe (hours vary - please ring first)
Are there facilities for disabled people?
Yes. There are tarmac paths throughout of the farm.
