• What is a Controlled Parking Zone?

  A Controlled Parking Zone is an area where parking is regulated to benefit residents, businesses and visitors.

• Types of Parking Spaces (Bays)

  Parking spaces are provided in locations where parking is safe and does not obstruct other road users.

• CPZ Maps and Hours of Operation

  The 11 controlled parking zones (CPZs) in Newham have different operational hours and days.

• On-street Pay and Display Charges

  There are different Pay and Display charges for different areas.

• Suspensions and Dispensations

  Within Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs), parking spaces may be suspended at the Council's discretion, to allow for certain circumstances.

• Motorcycle Parking

  Motorcycles may park free of charge in any Pay & Display, 'Shared Use' or Resident's Bay and within any car park in Newham.

• Upgraded Pay and Display Machines

  To improve customer service and reduce vandalism, we upgraded and replaced the majority of our Pay and Display machines.
