Dangerous Structures Guidance
This is delegated to the Building Control
Unit during office hours and out of hours it is carried out by the
Structural Engineers Group.
Where there are dangerous structures which require immediate
action, and the owner cannot be located, the Local Authority will
arrange for a nominated contractor to attend site and remove the
danger, and will recharge the owner for all expenses
incurred.
Out of hours Dangerous Structures: 5pm-8am Mon-Fri, Weekends and
Public holidays
