Help with Insulation
and Heating Available
Grants of up to 100% for boiler repairs,
new central heating systems and installation of loft and cavity
wall insulation may be available under a partnership between Newham
Council and London Warm Zone.
Residents who own their own home or rent it privately and
are in reciept of certain income or disability related benefits, OR
are aged 70 or over, may be able to have insulation work carried
out for FREE. Those on qualifying benefits may also be
entitled to grants for heating work of UP TO 100%, subject
to funding and eligibility criteria.
Homeowners not on any benefits may also be able to receive UP TO
75% off the cost of installing loft and cavity wall insulation
regardless of income.
London Warm Zone arranges a free home assessment to find out how
energy efficiency could be improved and what help the resident
qualifies for. They then arrange for the work to be carried out by
approved contractors.
